Treat yourself to a bed and breakfast in Oakville at our charming c. 1908 English Arts & Crafts manor home with interesting history set in an attractive garden in a beautiful residential area of South East Oakville and steps from Chancery Promenade on Lake Ontario, only 5 minutes to downtown Oakville.
This elegant home was the original estate house on ten acres of land extending from Lakeshore Road to Lake Ontario. A quiet residential area has now been built around the house, however it still retains much of its original charm and atmosphere. Stone balustrades border a raised patio leading to the front door, where guests are welcome to sit and enjoy the gardens. Inside is a pleasant mix of comfortable sitting areas, a formal dining room and a separate television lounge. For your rest and relaxation you may read the morning paper in the library, sip an extra cup of coffee in the conservatory overlooking the garden and swimming pool, play the baby grand piano or stroll 100 metres to the shore of nearby Lake Ontario.
Ample complimentary parking is available. Smoking is not permitted in the house.

Bedrooms:
The large air-conditioned bedrooms are tastefully decorated. One, with an ensuite bathroom, has a four-poster king-size bed; another, with a queen-size bed and a twin, has a lovingly restored private bathroom. Cosy up in rooms equipped with quality sheets, and goose down duvets in winter or cotton coverlets when summer arrives. Rooms have their own T.V., VCR, reading lights, alarm clocks and desks. Internet access is available for laptop users. Tea, coffee and cookies are made available in the bedrooms. Bathrooms have top quality towels. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer and toiletries are also provided. An iron and ironing board are available on request.
Breakfast:
Enjoy breakfast in the grand dining room. Hearty and delicious breakfasts are served in a gracious setting overlooking the garden. A different breakfast is served each day selected from the following:
- Fresh fruits, fresh fruit salad, juices, Orange Julius.
- Home baked multigrain bread, muffins, croissants, baguettes and scones
- Hot or cold cereals.
- Omelette, baked French toast or buttermilk pancakes.
- Boiled, scrambled, poached or fried eggs with Canadian bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms.
- Cheeses, yogourt, a selection of home made or local jam, marmalade and honey.
- Breakfast comes with tea, herbal tea or fresh roasted coffee.
